Specialised Family Therapy That Gets to the Heart of the Matter
Family life can be challenging. Whether you're struggling with conflict at home, concerns about your teen’s behaviour, or feeling overwhelmed by the pressure to hold it all together—you're not alone. As a highly experienced psychologist, I offer evidence-based therapy designed to create meaningful, lasting change for young people and their families.
With advanced training in Functional Family Therapy (FFT) and Multisystemic Therapy (MST), I work with families facing complex and high-stress situations—helping to reduce crisis behaviours, improve communication, and build stronger, more connected relationships.

What I Offer

Functional Family Therapy (FFT)
FFT is a short-term, structured therapy model that helps families overcome intense conflict, behavioural issues, and emotional disconnect. It’s especially effective for adolescents at risk of becoming involved in the justice system or those already navigating difficult pathways.
Through FFT, we work together to:
-
Reduce blame and build mutual understanding
-
Improve problem-solving and communication skills
-
Strengthen support systems within the family
-
Promote positive behavioural change in teens and young adults
Multisystemic Therapy (MST)
MST is an intensive, in-home model designed for adolescents engaging in serious problem behaviours—often involving school refusal, aggression, substance use, or legal issues. It doesn’t just focus on the individual, but on all the systems around them: family, school, peers, and community.
With MST, I help families to:
-
Identify and change patterns that maintain disruptive behaviour
-
Build consistent routines and boundaries at home
-
Reconnect with school, community, and healthy peer networks
-
Prevent out-of-home placements or involvement with the justice system
Why Work With Me?
With over a decade of experience in community mental health, inpatient forensic settings, and private practice, I bring a practical, compassionate, and outcomes-focused approach. I’ve worked extensively with families facing multiple and overlapping challenges—helping them to navigate tough moments, build resilience, and move forward together.
Whether your family is feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just in need of support, by blending the experience listed above I’m here to help.
